Basilica of The Little Flower St. Therese

January 25th 2010 Our Lady of Fatima was on loan to The Basilica of The Little Flower in San Antonio Texas. Photos of the Altars and The Shrine to The Little Flower "St. Therese", and The Baby Jesus of Praque are featured here. It is truely a Holy Sanctuary! I don't think even the people are aware of how invaluable the site is.
Just click on the link written in "Rose Red" and read all about the church and it's history.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Religious freedom is not free just yet. I thought we were getting there as I was growing up. Sadly even Christians right in the United States boarder and polarize themselves with what they believe and what's out there to believe. This leaves many out in the cold with not even the HOPE!
This can go into many directions but picking it up at Hope, not having any, opens the "essense" of our very being, to suggestions open for discussion.
Here I will only profess to document what has worked for me, what has happened to me, and what I'm sure can work for you IF you are ready and serious. You can "COMMUNICATE" with the Ancient Ones, Walk with Saints, Order Angels (Special training, restraining, sustaining, trial and error), "Present to Counel", conjure, invoke, awaken (even self), but most of all, Gain "FAVOR WITH THE LORD", so you may be anwered quickly, or given signs.
It is best to begin and remember the begining, the middle and the end if nothing else. In the most ancient of days , we were told of seven laws, even before the 10 comandments, not to mention the Powerful prayers of Solemon, and the mind altering Proverbs.
Then there was Jesus, AFTER Moses with the ways we should be today (should)... and then there's a sneak preview of tomorrow if we're good. This is were everybody parts ways.
The Revelations are confusing to all except, the ones who diligently "seek" the LORD. You would have had to have sought out your own understanding with the living book in order to have had the so many experiences meant for you. If your relationship with The Lord hasn't been what you would like it to be, then JUST ASK!
I might have said earlier, the immortal ones sometimes need awakening. That is why the repetition. Only chosen ones are selected by the Heavens, and we have to respect the church for who they choose as saints. Not every one can be a Saint, but not everyone goes off into bliss either. Therefore, only ask Saints for intercession. Always Thank GOD!

SAINT PIO OF PIETRELCINA

I'm not familiar with this Saint. If I had been born in Italy I would have known them all.

About Saint Therese

These words are a reprint from:
LEAVES MAGAZINE
Prayers and  my personal
notes to follow:

ST. THERESE, THE LITTLE FLOWER

Therese Martin entered a Carmelite convent at the age of sixteen. As Sister Therese of The Child Jesus, she lived a hidden life. She was just twenty-four when she died.
The world came to know her  through her autobiography,
"The Story of A Soul".
She described her life as " a little way of spiritual childhood." She lived each day with unshakable confidence in God's love. What matters in life is "not great deeds, but great love."
"my mission-to make God loved-will begin after my death," she said. "I will spend my heaven doing good on Earth. I will let fall a shower of roses." Countless lives have been touched by her intercession, and thousands have imitated her "little way".
She has been acclaimed the "greatest saint of modern times". Everywhere in the world the roses continue to fall.

                                              MIRACULOUS INVOCATION
                                                     TO SAINT THERESE
O glorious Saint Therese, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel mankind, I implore your Miraculous Intercession.
So powerful are you in obtaining every need of body and soul our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a "Prodigy of Miracles... The Greatest Saint of Modern Times".
Now, I ferventy beseech you to answer my petition on... (mention request here)...
and to carry out your promises of spending Heaven doing good upon Earth...
...of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses.
    Henceforth, Dear Little Flower,
I will fulfill your plea "to be made known everywhere" and I will never cease to lead others to Jesus through you.
AMEN
To be con't..

" I will let fall from Heaven...a Shower of Roses"
A word from Tom,
This promise of roses is one that is honored and kept by Our Lord. I know! I had a brief aquaintance with an
Entity that was assurring and reassuring!
If you request intercession through this Saint be prepared to be comforted by (if nothing else,...) a rose!
( To mean: you do not walk alone or more than one to mean: requests are granted, expect blessings!)
My personal testimony was toward the end of my mothers life. I took care of her as a good son should do. Mother loved roses. As a child I bought her a few, The Texas Rose, The Peggy Lee.
Turning to Saints to interceed for the much needed St. Therese answered in so many ways, even the prunning shears to get ready! But the one sign I will remember for all the days of my life, (and there were many..) was when she passed away. I thought I was the one that died. My heart was torn to pieces. There were several occations.
Walking home with my head tucked, saddened to death, on a slated side walk, wet from rain, A Beautiful Red Rose! One singular harty healthy, (where there should be NO rose or the chance that any one would abandone..) rose!
To be con't..

A Prayer to St. Therese

ST. THERESE, THE LITTLE
FLOWER, PLEASE PICK ME
A ROSE FROM THE HEAVENLY
GARDEN AND SEND IT TO
ME WITH A MESSAGE OF LOVE.
ASK GOD TO GRANT ME THE
FAVOR I THEE IMPLORE AND
TELL HIM I WILL LOVE
HIM EACH DAY MORE AND MORE

(The above prayer, plus 5 Our Father's, 5 Hail
Mary's, 5 Glory Be's, must be said on 5 suc-
cessive days, before 11 A.M. On the 5th day,
the 5th set of prayers having been completed,
offer one more set - 5 Our Father's, 5 Hail
Mary's, 5 Glory Be's )

The above was a leaflet printed for and by THE MARIANNHILL FATHERS

....Because the Miracles and stories are so fresh, even to this very day, there are people alive that have "something" passed down through the ages regarding the "How" St. Therese came to be a "Nun" at the age of fifteen. It was said she had a gift, she could communicate with God. Her prayers were answered immediately, she would "manifest" things, befriend the unexplained and have conversations. She had to be protected!
Tom, (That's what we discussed in Caticism with Sister Joseph Pius) SHHH!

Prayer to Saint Jude

Prayer to be said in great affliction, or when one seems to be deprived of all visible help, or for cases despaired of.  WARNING:  THIS IS A PROMISE, THE ETERNAL ONES DO NOT LIKE A BROKEN PROMISE. PUBLICATION IS PROMISED! ..
AND SHOULD BE KEPT.
IF THE REQUEST IS ANSWERED BEFORE 9 DAYS, COMPLETE THE NINTH DAY AND PUBLISH.

(This opening address seems to get the attention of the Holy Counsel before the thrown of God. Other openings may begin with glorious, etc, this works best.)

Most Holy Apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered thy beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused thee to be forgotten by many, but the church honors and invokes thee universally as the patron of hopeless cases, of things despaired of.

Pray for me who am so miserable, make use I implore thee of that particular privillege accorded to thee, to bring visible and speedy help when help is almost despaired of.
Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolations and succor of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, particularly ~   (Here make your request)
...and that I may bless God with thee and all the elect forever.
I promise thee, O blessed St. Jude to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor thee as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to thee,

St. Jude, Apostle, martyr and relative of  Our Lord Jesus Christ, of Mary and of Joseph, intercede for us.
AMEN
